Participants will be asked to travel to the San Diego International Airport the morning of, or the day before, the start of the conference. From the airport, ride shares (Uber, Lyft), taxis and rental cars are available.

Participants will be hosted at the beachfront resort La Jolla Shores Hotel in double-occupancy rooms.

Participants will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Scripps Seaside Forum, accommodating a range of diets. These will include an Opening Keynote Dinner, Trivia Night appetizers at Shore Rider, and a closing tapas-style dinner at Surfside, our student space at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

A range of activities will be available to participants, including surfing, sea kayaking, swimming, beach bonfire, long walks on the beach, and more. An optional field trip is also planned on May 25th.
